Cable Guide Replacement Kit

1. Remove the belt cover from the left side of the machine by removing the bolts holding it in place. Retain the belt cover and belt-cover bolts for later installation.

2. Unhook the clutch cable from the idler arm.

3. Remove the cable guide from the machine by removing the bolt and nut holding it in place. Discard the cable guide and hardware.

Parts needed for this procedure:

1. Remove the cover from the replacement cable guide, route the clutch cable through the guide as shown in Figure 3, and close the guide.

2. Secure the cable-guide assembly to the machine using the bolt and nut provided (Figure 4).

   Note: Ensure that the protrusion on the cable-guide assembly rests inside the protrusion hole on the machine (Figure 5).

3. Hook the clutch cable onto the idler arm.

4. Install the previously removed belt cover onto the machine with the corresponding hardware.
