Preparing the Machine

  1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage the PTO, and engage the parking brake.

  2. Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving the operating position.

  3. Raise the rear of the machine so that the wheels are off the ground. Support the machine using jack stands.

    Note: Use jack stands rated for your machine. Refer to the Operator’s Manual for your machine to determine the weight.

    Warning

    Mechanical or hydraulic jacks may fail to support the machine and cause serious injury.

    Use jack stands when supporting the machine.

Installing the Wheels

  1. Remove the 2 existing tires.

  2. Install the 2 new tires using 8 lug nuts (1/2 x 1-7/8 inches).

  3. Torque the lug nuts to 122 to 135 N∙m (90 to 100 ft-lb).

  4. Ensure that the air pressure in the tires is 83 to 96 kPa (12 to 14 psi).
