Twin Spinner

Remove the twin spinner from the shipping pallet.

Remove the 4 screws from the legs of the twin spinner. With the help of a partner, lift the twin spinner and remove the packing studs and packing foam (Figure 1).

Install the hopper door using the supplied carriage bolts (1/4 x 5/8 inch) and locknuts (Figure 2).

Use the support handles on each side to lift the twin spinner (Figure 3).

Slide the twin spinner onto the flanges of the side rails (at the rear of the ProPass), lining up the mounting guides on each side.

Perform this step only for machines with serial no. 411700000 and up:

Adjust the clearance between the sensor and the hopper door to 3 mm (1/8 inch) as shown in Figure 4 using the adjustment nuts. The gap should be no wider than 6 mm (1/4 inch).

Note: The sensor must not touch the hopper door.

Note: If the hopper door does not align with the sensor, remove the carriage bolts and locknuts in step 3 and adjust the horizontal position of the hopper door. After the door is in the correct position, secure it using the removed carriage bolts and locknuts.

Torque the adjustment nuts in step 6 to 20 N•m (15 ft-lb).

Lock the twin spinner into place with the locking clamps on each side (Figure 5). Adjust the locking clamps until the clamps are just firm when closing.

Install the safety pins on the twin spinner.

Important: If the ProPass is going to be used without a twin spinner, you must connect the 2 option quick couplers together at the rear of the machine to complete the hydraulic circuit (Figure 6).
