Canopy Kit

1. Park the machine on a level surface.

2. Shift the transmission lever to the P (Park) position.

3. Shut off the engine and remove the key.

Parts needed for this procedure:

Note: 2-passenger machine shown; 4-passenger machine similar.

1. Peel the backing from the front and rear foam seal and adhere one piece on each cross-member of the roll cage.

2. Peel the backing from the side foam seals and adhere one piece on each of the side tubes.

3. Peel the backing from the corner foam seals and adhere one piece on the roll cage so that it overlaps the front or rear foam seal as shown.

Parts needed for this procedure:

1. Install each canopy bracket using 2 carriage bolts and 2 hex nuts (M8 x 1.25 mm).

   Torque each hex nut to 26 N·m (19 ft-lb).

2. Install the 2 rubber captive nuts into the mounting locations.

3. Align 6 spacers on top of the holes of the foam seals.

4. Place the canopy on top of the ROPS.

5. Install the canopy using 6 hex-head bolts (1/4 x 1 inch), 6 gasket washers, 4 flat washers, and 4 locknuts (1/4 inch).

   Do not tighten the bolts at this time.

6. Secure the front of the canopy using 2 hex-head bolts (1/4 x 1 inch), 2 flat washers, and 2 locknuts (1/4 inch).

7. Torque the outer 6 locknuts (1/4 inch) to 5 to 6 N·m (45 to 50 in-lb).

   Torque the inner 2 hex-head bolts (1/4 x 1 inch) to 2.5 N·m (24 in-lb).

Parts needed for this procedure:

1. Install the foam seals; refer to Installing the Foam Seals.

2. Install each canopy bracket using 2 carriage bolts and 2 hex nuts (M8 x 1.25 mm).

   Torque each nut to 26 N·m (19 ft-lb).

3. Install the 3 rubber captive nuts into the mounting locations.

4. Align 6 spacers on top of the captive nuts in the holes of the foam seals.

5. Place the canopy on top of the ROPS.

6. Install the canopy using 9 hex-head bolts (1/4 x 1 inch), 9 gasket washers, 6 washers, and 6 locknuts (1/4 inch).

   Do not tighten the bolts at this time.

7. Secure the front of the canopy using 2 hex-head bolts (1/4 x 1 inch), 2 flat washers, and 2 locknuts (1/4 inch).

8. Torque the outer 8 locknuts (1/4 inch) to 5 to 6 N·m (45 to 50 in-lb).

   Torque the inner 3 hex-head bolts (1/4 x 1 inch) to 2.5 N·m (24 in-lb).
