Installation

Preparing the Machine

  1. Move the machine to a level surface, shut off the engine, remove the key, wait for all movement to stop, and allow the machine to cool.
  2. Remove the switch plug from the control panel.

Installing the Heated Grips and Switch

  1. Apply the adhesive to the inside of the heated grips.
  2. Install the grips to the handles, lining up the holes in the grips with the holes in the handles. Secure the grip to the handles with the rivets.

  3. On the control panel, install the switch into the cutout.

  4. Under the control panel, connect the new wire harness to the main wire harness.
  5. Connect the new wire harness to the grips and switch.

Operating the Handwarmers

  1. Operate the handwarmers as shown in the following figure.
